CANNABRIC is a company that is created in 1999 with the manufacture of the brick for eco-building with the same name, that I developed since 1995 during and following my diploma of Architecture (University of the Arts, Berlin, Germany), which acted of BUILDING WITH HEMP.
Hemp is a plant of very versatile uses, of which I did not separate since then, by the good results it gives and the multitude of constructive solutions it offers, without forgetting its benefits for the environment and the health of the habitants. The necessity to have by hand materials to be able to realise habitable, healthful, environment- preserving and energy efficient buildings, has motivated me to introduce little by little other carefully selected materials for greenbuilding, beginning with vegetal material and natural bonding agents. These complete the construction with Cannabric, but are also suitable for works of restoration and rehabilitation of historical buildings since last got up with natural and long lasting materials, completely incompatible with the modern ones, more and more un-natural, rigid, difficult to recycle, less regulating of temperatures and humidities, less able to let the walls breathe and rich in chemical additives.
Aside from the information on our materials and their processing, published in this Web, I give advices to my clients, before as after acquiring these materials and with my present knowledge, fruit of own experiences in working with the same. The advising, in favor of a correct processing of the materials I offer free in all the works that don’t demand special knowledge and techniques. I also give free budgets based on measurements (without commitment), the budgets given on planes are priced according to needed time.
