This cabane of 70 m2 (under construction) is insprired by our intentions to create rural circular agroeconomies in the Upper Central Rif of Morocco. The project, designed by architects of CANNATEKTUM and managed by our hemp cooperative ADRAR NOUH, moves with European donations through the Crowdfunding Hempbuilding Central Rif (vision bakery, 2017). The project is a model for the valorisation of vegetable, cannabinoid free "waste" from Cannabis farming. The cabane is errected with resources of mineral-, agro- and forest- origin of the inmediate surroundings of the building site. The hemp aggregates for the manufacture of more than 2000 large hemp blocks have been obtained by processing tons of agricultural waste. The insulating hemp made materials aim to face the harsh climate conditions in the region and avoid the carbon emision of the (usually field burnt) hemp stems. It is the second building planned and constructed by our Adrar Nouh cooperative in Morocco, after the international success that the SUNIMPLANT hemp house continues to experience, a didactive project, built in collaboration with Moroccan students in Benguerir in 2019.
